If you have a Florida issued document that will be used in one of the participating countries, they may require an apostille. Some reasons you may need an apostille is you’re having a designation wedding, adopting a child overseas, applying for dual citizenship, working overseas, or inheriting a property in a foreign country. The apostille certifies the authenticity of the issuing official or notary public’s signature on your document. We will come to you to obtain your documents, notarize if needed, and process your documents to Tallahassee via mail. Return of documents can take up to 4-6 weeks.
